There is nothing worse than stretched-out cuffs that let the cold air in, or a moth-eaten waistband that ruins the look of your favorite varsity or bomber jacket. Our master sewists specialize in replacing worn-out fabric knits with premium, heavy-duty replacements that look and feel just like the originals.

What Is Included in the Service?

We carefully remove the old, damaged knit fabric and stitch on brand new, double-ply heavy-duty knits. You can choose to replace:

• Cuffs: (Pair) Tightens the wrist fit and stops wind.
• Waistband: Restores the snug fit at the bottom of the jacket.
• Collar: Replaces the neck knit (common on Varsity/Baseball jackets).
• Full Set: Replace all three for a complete restoration (and best value!).

Color Matching

We stock high-quality heavy-weight knits in standard colors:

• Black
• Dark Brown
• Navy Blue

*If you have a jacket with striped knits (e.g., a varsity jacket with yellow/black stripes), we will match the main solid color (usually Black) unless you provide your own custom striped fabric in the box OR we can send the knit to a mill to have it made (+$40)

Which Shipping Option Should I Choose?

• Email Label (+$0): Best value. We email you a label to print. You print it and tape it to your own box.
• Send Me a Box (+$25): We ship you a "Shipping Kit" with a collapsed box and a return label.
• US Mail Label (+$2): No printer? We print the label here and mail it to you via USPS. You stick it on your own box.
• Cleaning and Repair (+$0): Select this option if you are purchasing a Cleaning Service at the same time.

Common Questions:

Can you match my striped collar?
We stock solid colors only (Black, Brown, Navy). Striped knits are very specific to each team/school. If you need stripes, we recommend you purchase the "knit trim" fabric online (Etsy or eBay) and put it in the box with your jacket. We will happily install it for you! OR we can have the knit sent to a mill to be custom made. There is a $40 charge to have a knit sheet made to match.

Is the new knit wool or synthetic?
We use a premium acrylic/poly blend or wool blend depending on stock. We choose them specifically because they are resistant to moths and hold their elasticity much longer than vintage pure wool knits.
