Shipping policy

Shipping, Insurance, and Risk of Loss All items sent to or by LeatherCareUSA are transported by third-party carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx).

  1. Inbound Shipping: Pre-paid shipping labels provided by LeatherCareUSA include a maximum declared value insurance of $100.00 USD. It is the customer's sole responsibility to request and pay for additional insurance coverage if the item's value exceeds this amount. LeatherCareUSA is not liable for any loss or damage occurring during transit to our facility beyond the $100 provided by the carrier.

  2. Outbound Shipping: Items returned to the customer will be shipped with a standard $100.00 insurance coverage unless the customer requests and pays for higher declared value coverage at the time of service completion.

  3. Claims Process: In the event of a shipping loss or damage, LeatherCareUSA will assist in filing a claim with the carrier. However, the final decision and payout amount are determined solely by the carrier. Most carriers require the customer to provide a valid original purchase receipt as proof of value. LeatherCareUSA cannot guarantee carrier payouts for vintage, antique, or pre-owned items where original receipts are unavailable.

  4. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall LeatherCareUSA be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from carrier negligence or loss.
