Leather Hem Repairs

Posted by Jeffrey Schwegmann on

The hem of my favorite leather skirt has come loose. Can I fix it myself?

You can. Small areas can be fixed with a tiny amount of rubber cement. For bigger jobs, consult your local leather care professional. You can purchase leather glues from Amazon.com and find in some hardware stores. You will not need much product. Apply the glue sparingly, you can always add more, but if you over-do it the first time you have mess. Use a Popsicle stick, tooth pick or spatula to spread the glue very thin. Follow the directions on the tube.

Leather hems will be repaired as part our cleaning service.

Repair Only work starts at 25.00 and there is a shipping charge.
